Crochet Extended Single Crochet 2 Together Rib Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

For my sample I used Scheepjes Stonewashed Minerals XL yarn in the shade “Opal Ocean” with a 6mm Hook

Abbreviations:

●       Ch = Chain

●       SC = Single Crochet

●       ESC2tog = Extended Single Crochet Two Together

●       BLO = Back Loop Only

●       St = Stitch

●       Rep = Repeat

Extended Single Crochet Two Together (ESC2tog) Insert hook into the same stitch as the last stitch was worked, draw up a loop. Insert hook into the next stitch, draw up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through 1 loop (3 loops on hook) Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops

NO PATTERN MULTIPLE

Row 1: Chain as wide as you wish your project to be.

1 SC in 2nd Ch from hook and in each Ch along the row.

Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) 1 SC in the same stitch.

Begin the first ESC2tog of the row under BOTH loops and end it in the BLO of the next stitch.

Rep * ESC2tog in BLO across the row * until you have 1 stitch remaining.

Begin the last ESC2tog of the row in the BLO and end it under BOTH loops of the last stitch.

Rows 3 onwards: Rep Row 2

When you’ve reached your desired length, fasten off and cut the yarn.
