Crochet Star Fairy Light Garland

Using tiny rice light battery operated LED wire string lights, simply crochet some tiny stars using the tutorial below and then string them onto the lights! The LED lights are safe to use as they do not produce any heat when turned on.

I bought my rice lights from AMAZON - 16 little sets of lights for ยฃ11.99 meaning each garland only costs 75 pence - what a bargain! With some scrap yarn (I used 100% cotton yarn for my stars) and a little time, you will have a super cute little gift which anyone will love!

Amigurumi Brussels Sprouts!

Nothing says Christmas quite like a sprout; love them or hate them on your plate, you have to admit they are adorable in crochet form!

Quick and simple to make, you can use any yarn to make these! Simply follow the video tutorial below or find the written pattern HERE

Candy Cane Christmas Bee!

How cute is this little chap? Everyone loves bees so a festive fellow is perfect! Simply follow the video tutorial below and switch the yellow and black colouring for red and white candy cane stripes! Using super soft chenille yarn as an additional cuddly element but is totally optional.

If you prefer a written pattern, that can be found HERE.

Crochet Amigurumi Catcus

The gift of a houseplant that will never die! Perfect for the houseplant lover or the person who cannot keep houseplants alive!

Very easy to make, you can โ€œplantโ€ your cactus in a terracotta plant pot or a plastic one - use whatever you have lying around the house! The cheeky little face is guaranteed to make anyone smile.

Simply follow the video tutorial below or find the written pattern HERE

Crochet Fingerless Gloves

If you have a spare afternoon, why not a pair of fingerless gloves? These puff stitch gloves are super easy to crochet, it is easy to change the size and length meaning you can tailor each pair to their recipient!

Simply follow the video tutorial below or find the written pattern HERE

Crochet Fingerless Gloves Packaging

Using some thick paper (just ensure it is not too thick to feed through your printer!) print out a fries box shape - this is the perfect shape for rolling your gloves into.

I have supplied a free printable PDF you can download (click the large button labelled โ€œGloves Box Printable PDF Templateโ€ below!) which is the packaging I show in the video at the beginning of this post - I personally used a fancy gold paper which I bought from a craft shop however you can use any paper you have to hand.

Simply print the PDF, cut out the fries packaging shape, and fold the tabs inwards.

Secure these tabs on the inside of the box using a little double sided sticky tape or glue and your fries box will curve fold upwards in the middle meaning it can stand on its own.

Then simply roll your gloves up and pop them in!

There is a little space for you to write a message on the back of the packaging and some generic care instructions that should apply to any acrylic yarn.

I hope these ideas give you some inspiration!

Happy Crocheting :D
