Crochet Circle Polka Dot Garland WRITTEN PATTERN
USA STITCH TERMS
Hook Size(s): according to your yarn
For my sample I used scrap double knit yarn with a 4mm Hook
Abbreviations:
โ Ch = Chain
โ DC = Double Crochet
โ Sl St = Slip Stitch
โ St = Stitch
Round 1: Ch 4 and sl st to join or make a magic ring
Ch 2 (does not count as a st) and turn.
Make 12 DC in the ring. Pull the tail to close the ring. Sl st to join. (12)
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Weave in the ends.
Make as many circles as you need for the garland. Take a needle and thread to stitch them together (remember to leave enough at the end to tie the garland up).
To attach the circle, you will insert your needle through the back loop of any stitch, through a few of the stitches to reach the opposite edge of the circle, and finally through the back loop of the adjacent stitch.
This ensures the yarn does not show in the front and the circle remains secure.
