Crochet Candy Cover Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

For my sample I used Scheepjes Chunky Monkey yarn with a 6mm Hook

Abbreviations:

●       Ch = Chain

●       SC = Single Crochet

●       DC = Double Crochet

●       Rep = Repeat

Foundation: Chain in a multiple of 4 - keep your chains nice and loose for this stitch pattern

Row 1: Work 4 DC in 4th Ch from hook

Rep: * skip 3 Ch, 1 SC in next. Ch 2, 4 DC in same ch as SC *

End the row with 1 SC only in the last Ch

Row 2: TURN

Ch 5, 4 DC in 4th Ch from hook

Rep: *SC in Ch2 space, Ch2, 4 DC into the side of SC *

End with Skip 4 DC, 1 SC in top of turning chain.

Rows 3 - onwards: Rep Row 2

FINAL ROW (Optional):

Ch 3, TURN

SC in the Ch 2 space

Rep: * Ch 3, SC in the chain space * until end
