Crochet Modified Moss Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

For my sample I used Scheepjes Chunky Monkey yarn with a 6mm Hook

Abbreviations:

●       Ch = Chain

●       SC = Single Crochet

●       Sk = Skip

●       St = Stitch

●       Rep = Repeat

Foundation: Chain in a multiple of 3 + 2

Row 1:

SC into 3rd Ch from the hook and in each ch along.

Row 2: Ch 2 and TURN

SC in the next st, Ch 1

Rep * Sk 2 sts, 2 SC in the next st, Ch1 * across the row

End with Sk 1 st and work your last SC into the Ch 2 space.

Row 3: Ch 2 and TURN

Work 2 SC into the 1st ch 1 space

Rep: * Ch 1, 2 SC in the next ch 1 space * across the row

End with Ch 1 and work your last SC into the Ch 2 space.

Rows 4 - onwards: Rep Row 3
